Located in the north east of Mauritius with spectacular beaches and coves, enclosed by a reef and a choice of luxury and all inclusive hotels. Protected by the reef with side shore wind Anse La Raie is ideal for beginners and experts alike with uncrowded conditions. 

Sailing Spot and Conditions
The majority of the coastline on the north east coast is fringed by a reef approximately 2.5km offshore, creating a vast lagoon ideal for kitesurfing and flat water windsurfing. It is ideal for learning to windsurf or kitesurf with the sheltered conditions and wind side shore from the right. Anse Le Raie, where the centre is based, is set in a 300m wide cove, with mostly knee deep, shallow water with sand. Kitesurf lessons are support by shuttle training boats to get you to the best spot in the lagoon, with plenty of space and optimum conditions. Independent kitesurfers booked in at our centre are provided with a beach service, assisting launch, landing and providing rescue support. Regular downwinders are organised with support boat.


Culture and Activities
Mauritius and the north of the island is mainly beach hotel resorts with local bars and restaurants nearby servicing hotel guest who venture out to Grand Bay nearby with music bars and nightclubs. It is worth venturing out to see the Port capital of St Luise with it's duty free shops and local markets. The countryside is a mix of sugar cane plantations and interior hills leading to traditional villages built along the coast line. An island sightseeing tour will show you the best sights in a day. Locally you can enjoy boat trips, with a picnic and swimming with dolphins if you are lucky. Other activities include  beach BBQs, snorkelling, diving, fishing, surfing, SUP and the welcome cocktail party at the kitesurf centre. There are also 18 hole par 72 international golf course facilities, with guest membership and prebookable tee times.
