Corralejo in Fuerteventura offers kitesurfing and windsurfing holidays with a mix of flat water and offshore swell and chop conditions. Still with the original fishing port, Corralejo has grown to offer a resort with great choice of accommodation, many shops, bars, restaurants, clubs and one of the best beaches in the Canaries. The  beach stretches along the coast for over 6km, with the dunes behind and the open sea infront, this island is an excellent choice year round.

Sailing Conditions
There are a number of locations around Corralejo, to suit every level. The main location is the golden sands of Flag beach, approximately 10 minutes drive from the centre of town. On the edge of the Las Dunas National Park, with its white dunes, it is a spectacular spot. The beach faces north east, with a 400m long bay protected either side by reefs, with predominantly flat water on the inside and the potential for swell or waves in the winter for jumping practice further out. The Straits between Corralejo and the island of Los Lobos offer perfect long downwind runs too. The water gets deep quickly here, so kitesurfing lessons are accompanied by an instructor from a jetski or boat. Beginners are best suited to travel to Cotillo with a 1km beach and sheltered bay. Approximately a 25 minutes drive, lessons are organised and depart from the centre. The quality of both wind and sea are best in the summer, when the Trade winds blow, with sailing conditions in winter very reliable.

Culture and Activities
Corralejo has grown from an old fishing village to a fully fledged holiday resort, just a short 30 minute drive north from the main airport at Rosaria. A huge range of activities are available, from mountain biking and diving to waterparks and crazy golf. Other activities include SUP, surfing, land sailing, cycling and mountain biking. Family and Friends can enjoy the busy town and shops, relax poolside or on the beach. You can also explore the beautiful Parque Natural de Corralejo, with the rolling dunes and stunning views, or head further afield around the island to the Zoo, water parks and historical buildings.  The town is buzzing with many bars and restaurants which can get very busy in summer with it's many apartments and hotels. The rest of the south by comparison, is relatively undeveloped. Once out of the main resort you can explore villages of white washed houses with windmills found dotted around the island.
